SANTEE — Our Mom, Lorna Diann Hook passed away suddenly on 12/13/2013.
Lorna was born in San Diego to Cecil and Shirley Sanders. She graduated from Lincoln High in 1960; married George Kenneth Hook in 1962, and together had two children, Paula Ann and Michael Kenneth.
Lorna worked for the Santee School District as a Records Clerk for 32 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, country line dancing, watching NFL football, John Wayne, and being a member of the Red Hat Society, but most of all her utmost love and devotion of her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; is survived by her daughter Paula (Brian) Mowrey of El Cajon, her son Michael (Deanna) of Santee, and grand- daughter Paige Mowrey.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, 1/18, at 9:30 a.m. at Foothills Christian Church, 365 W. Bradley Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. Please wear your brightest colors, bring your biggest smiles, and your favorite Lorna stories!
