In the early 1900s William Cameron came to the United States from Scotland, seeking work as a stone mason. He settled in Santee to work in the blue granite stone quarry, and literally carved out a life for future generations of the Cameron family. The corporate headquarters for both TC Construction Company and Cameron Bros. Construction Company are built on this land that has been home to the Cameron Family for over 100 years. The Cameron Family also owns the Cameron Mobile Home Park that sits on Coyote Mountain, the site of the Cameron Family Quarry.
